Meet the possible Real Madrid A and B team ahead of the new season

There are six possible cups available for Real Madrid this oncoming season.

First is the UEFA Super Cup, followed by the Spanish Super Cup. As usual, there are two trophies for grab in Spain, The La Liga and Copa del Rey. On the European stage, the Champions league and as Europe’s best, the team can become the first team to win back to back World Club Cup in December.

In defending the titles won last season and contending for new ones, Real Madrid will need a highly effective squad.

For a team like Real Madrid, there is always need and room for improvement.

Already boasting of one of the best squad in European football, Florentino Perez has made some youthful additions.

First Jesus Vallejo was promoted into the first team, after spending two years outside Madrid on loan.

Left back, Theo Hernandez also made the uncommon switch from Atletico Madrid to Real Madrid.

Dani Ceballos, is another player whose move to the Santiago Bernabeu is expected to be completed in a few days, after Real Betis confirmed that the midfielder has rejected a new deal in anticipation of a move to Real Madrid.

The transfer window is still weeks away from closing, and at Real Madrid, anything is possible in terms of players arrival.

On the departure list, only one high profile player has left Real Madrid so far.

James Rodriguez was loaned to Bayern Munich for two years, with the German champions having an option of signing the player permanently, if certain financial conditions are met.

Few Real Madrid players have been linked with the exit. One of such is Alvaro Morata.
The Spanish international was closely linked with a move to Manchester United, but talks between both clubs broke down, and United signed former top Chelsea target Romelu Lukaku. Now the Blues have been linked with the 24 year old.

Thanks to the new arrivals, the Real Madrid first team has at least two players for each position. The fact that some players can also fill in more than one position, makes things easier for coach Zzidane.

Baring any further departure, here are the two teams from the current Real Madrid squad.

Team A
Consist of players whose starting place in the team is almost guaranteed. They are the core of the current squad, and a lot of the team’s success will depend on their availability and form.

Real Madrid's best XI going into this season

Team B
Still a strong team, but consist of players who will mostly come in as substitutes and start in less valued competitions.

The B team
In all it looks bright for Real Madrid going into this season. And barring long term injuries and suspensions, the team should compete favourably on all fronts.
