Real Madrid midfielder back in training
Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is back in training after an ankle injury.
The German missed pre-season games against Manchester City
and Barcelona. He has been out since
July 25, but has now returned to training with the rest of the squad.
Real Madrid are yet to win a match in their ongoing tour of America,
having endured defeats against Manchester United, City and Barcelona.
The team will face an MLS All Star side in Chicago on Thursday,
in their final preseason game.
The squad will then return to Spain and continue reparations
for the season. Real Madrid face Manchester United in the UEFA Super Cup on
August 8, and hopefully, Kroos will be fully fit for a start.
His combination with Luka Modric and Casemiro was key to
Real Madrid’s success last season.
