Juventus eyeing Real Madrid midfielder - Report

The Italian champions are reportedly considering making a bid for Real Madrid's Toni Kroos.

The beaten Champions League finalist have been not been too active this summer. Bayern attacking midfielder Douglas Costa has joined the Turin based club on a season long loan, while the club also stand to get about €35m from the expected sale of defender Bonucchi to AC Milan.

According to Sportsmediaset, Juve are currently studying the possibility of landing the German midfielder. The Italian side believe a fee in the region of €70m will be enough to price Kroos away from Real Madrid, and hope to raise more money, through possible sales of more players like Cuadrado.

Last October, Kroos renewed his contract at Real Madrid to run till 2022. The German ace joined Real Madrid from Bayern Munich in 2014, and has developed into one of the best centre midfielders in European football. He's enjoyed success both at club level and on international front. He's won the World Cup, European Championship and FIFA Under-17 World Cup.

His combination with Luka Modric and Casemiro was key to Real Madrid's success last season. It remains to be seen if Madrid will welcome a bid for the player.
