Confirmed dates for Spanish Super Cup

The Super Cup clashes between Real Madrid and Barcelona have been fixed.

The first leg billed for Camp Nou, will be played on Sunday, August 13. This is because Barcelona are the Copa del Rey winners.

The second leg comes up three days later on August 16, at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid and Barcelona will face each other three times before the season kicks off.

First, is at the the International Clubs Cup on July 29 in a friendly in Miami, USA. Then the double header Super Cup.

This is the first time since 2012, that the Super Cup will be between both Real Madrid and Barcelona. Real Madrid were winners on that occasion, winning on the away goal rule. Barca won the first leg 3-2 at Camp Nou, and Madrid managed a 2-1 win at the Santiago Bernabeu.
