Getafe may benefit from Morata sale
Getafe president Angel Torres has confirmed that the club may benefit from a possible financial windfall if Real Madrid sell striker Alvaro Morata.
The 24-year-old has been strongly linked with a big-money move to Manchester United. Morata spent most of last season as the team's second choice striker and is unhappy at the limited playing time he is getting.
He joined Real Madrid from Getafe in 2008, having part of his youth career at the neighbouring team.
According to the Getafe president, the club has benefited thrice from the player's transfers.
"If they sell Morata then we can charge for youth training rights," he said via Marca Online.
"We've already done so on three occasions."
Manchester United, Chelsea and AC Milan have all been linked with Morata.
