what's next for Morata
United were reportedly close to agreeing a deal with Real Madrid for Morata, but things changed suddenly, and news emerged that United have agreed a deal with Everton for Lukaku, even though both clubs are yet to release an official statement.

Real Madrid were reportedly demanding €80m from United, but the Red Devils offered €75m.

With the Lukaku deal anticipated to go through, Chelsea who have been linked with the Belgian, will now have to look elsewhere for a striker.

Manger, Antonio Conte has told Diego Costa that he is no longer needed at the club, forcing the Premier League Champions into the market for new striker.

According to The Independent, Chelsea will now turn their attention to Morata, with Torino’s Andrea Belotti another option.

Morata and Conte worked together at Juventus, and a reunion at Stanford Bridge is not impossible.

Real Madrid are reluctant in letting Morata leave, but will not stand in his way if the club receives a satisfying offer and the player is willing to make the move. His departure may pave the way for the arrival of Monaco talisman Kliyan Mbappe.

The Real Madrid squad will return to training on Monday, ahead of the club’s pre-season tour of the United States.
