Morata to fight on at Real Madrid after Manchester United snub

For now, it seems the striker will remain at Real Madrid after transfer talks with Manchester United broke down.

The 24 year old was a target for United, before news emerged that the Old Trafford side had agreed a deal with Everton for Romelu Lukaku which in turn reduces the chance of Morata moving to United.

The real Madrid squad return to training next Monday and for now Morata will be among the returning squad.

"We must keep fighting, as there's no alternative, Morata’s representative told Marca. 

Another exit route from Madrid for Morata is Chelsea. The Premier League Champions were in pole position to sign Lukaku, before United agreed a deal for the 24 years old.

With Costa out of Conte’s plan at Chelsea, reports have emerged over the last 24 hours that the Blues would switch their attention to Morata.
