Arbeloa: "Carvajal is the best right back in the world''


The just retired former Real Madrid and Liverpool defender has described Dani Carvajal as the best right back in the world.

Carvajal was Alvaro Arbeloa's successor in the right back position at Madrid.

The Spanish international has greatly improved on his game since his days at Castilla, move  to Leverkusen and return to Real Madrid.

The 25 year old made 37 appearances for Madrid in all competitions last season, scoring once and providing nine assists. He was one of the most consistent performer for Madrid last season.

"Dani is physically gifted." Arbeloa told Marca.

"He is a machine, and apart from that he has a character that hates to lose. In Valdebebas, if he lost, he went crazy. Nacho and I laughed a lot about it. He does not like to lose anything and is the best right back in the world." He added describing Carvajal.

Since his return to Madrid in 2013, Carvajal has won three Champions Leagues, a La Liga title, two UEFA Super Cups, two World Club Cups among many others laurels.
