Confirmed Real Madrid squad for Malaga clash

Real Madrid have announced the 19 man squad for the week 13 La Liga fixture against Malaga.

Captain Sergio Ramos is understandably not in the squad, after suffering a nose fracture in the Madrid derby. Nacho is also not in the match day squad, and no reason has been given for his absence. Asensio will also miss the match, as the club confirmed his injury yesterday.

On a positive note, Keylor Navas is back in the squad after being out for close to two months. He is expected to return to the starting eleven.

Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Kiki Casilla and Moha.

Defenders: Dani Carvajal, Jesus Vallejo, Varane, Marcelo and Theo Hernandez.

Midfielders: Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Casemiro, M. Llorente, Isco, Kovacic and Dani Ceballos.

Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo,Karim Benzema, Lucas Vázquez and B. Mayoral.

With first and second Barcelona and Valencia facing each other on Sunday, Real Madrid can close the gap on the top two with a win. The Los Blancos enjoyed a resounding 6-0 win over APOEL on Tuesday in the Champions League and should be favourites for this match.
