Cristiano Ronaldo voted Champions League player of the week
The Real Madrid star has been voted as the Champions League player of the week, after his five-star performance against APOEL Nicosia on Tuesday.
The Portuguese scored a brace and made one assist as Real Madrid secured their place in the second round of the competition. According to stats from the UEFA website, Ronaldo had just three attempts at goal.

Ronaldo pulled 43% of the votes to beat Brazilian and PSG star Neymar who got 28% of the total votes and was second. Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski and Chelsea's Eden Hazard with 8% of the votes each were third.
This is the second time this season, Ronaldo will be voted player of the week in this season's Champions League.
