Mbappé's move to Madrid depends on Morata's exit - Report
Real Madrid's move for AC Monaco Kylian Mbappe forward depends on the sale of Alvaro Morata to Manchester United.
United have been linked with a move for Morata, after it appear that their pursuit of Antoine Griezmann wouldn't materialize this summer.
Real Madrid have also been linked with a move for 18 year old Mbappe who is seen as the next face of French football. Mbappe scored 26 goals in his debut season in France leading Monaco to the league title and semifinals in the Champions League.
Despite Morata's impressive run of 20 goals in 40 matches for Madrid last season, the 24 year old is still the team's second choice striker behind Karim Benzema.
According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, reelected Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has an agreement with manager Zidane to sell Morata to United and fund a move for Mbappe with proceed from the Morata sale.
Perez, in his first interview as the new Madrid president says the club is yet to receive any offer for Morata, and refused to give a clear answer when asked if the European Champions will be signing Mbappe.
According to the report, Perez believes Mbappe must be signed at all cost, and is ready to pay over €100m for the teenager. Madrid have the thinking that Mbappe can win the Ballon D'Or in the nearest future which makes him a better prospect than Morata.
