Real Madrid interested in Liverpool star

Head coach of the Egyptian national team Hector Cuper has confirmed Real Madrid's interest in Liverpool attacker Mohammed Salah.

The former Chelsea star has been in sparkling form since moving from AS Roma to Liverpool this summer. He is currently the highest goal scorer in the Premier League with 12 goals and has scored a total of 17 goals in his first 22 games for the Reds.

Salah also played a key role in Egypt's qualification for the World cup.

I’ve received confirmed news revealing Real Madrid’s interest in Salah, but let’s not rush things
Egypt coach Cuper told ON Sport TV in Egypt via Evening Standard
To me, he is in an amazing position right now.

Salah joined Liverpool from AS Roma on a five-year deal and his fine form has earned him the  PFA player of the month for November.

Real Madrid continued to struggle for goal as the team played a goalless draw with Athletic Bilbao over the weekend.

Gareth Bale's injury struggle has continued this season as the Welshman missed Madrid's game on Saturday, despite coming on as a substitute in the Copa del Rey draw against Fuenlabrada on Wednesday.

Zidane has admitted that Madrid could make some signings in January, but Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to keep on to Salah.
