Keylor Navas returns to training ahead of Malaga clash

The Real Madrid goalkeeper trained with the rest of the first squad on Thursday as he steps up his return the club has confirmed.

The Costa Rican suffered a groin injury while on international duty with his country in October, and last played for Real in the 1-1 Champions League draw against Tottenham.

Zidane said before the game against Atletico that the 30 year old would be back this week. He has been training alone for the past few days. His return to full training means he should be available for selection for the match against Malaga this Saturday.

Captain Sergio Ramos trained alone, as he continued his recovery. The Spanish international suffered a fractured nose in the 0-0 draw with Atletico last week, and missed the 6-0 in over APOEL on Tuesday and will most likely sit out the team's next game against Malaga.

Marco Asensio trained using indoor facilities at the club on Thursday, though no reason was given for his exclusion from the rest of the squad.

Gareth Bale remains missing from general team training on Thursday as he trained alone. Zidane had previously said that the Welshman would be back this week, but from the look of things, Bale will miss this weekend match against Malaga.
