4-3-3: Predicted Real Madrid starting eleven vs Tottenham at Wembley
Real Madrid will hope to put the disappointment of an embarrassing defeat at Girona over the weekend behind them when they travel to London to face Spurs in this season's Champion's League group stage match day 4.
Both teams actually lost over the weekend, the London side narrowly losing 1-0 to a fairly superior Manchester United side.
Gareth Bale, Keylor Navas and Dani Carvajal have not recovered in time, and have not travelled with the team.
Varane is also out. The centre back was substituted at half time in the 2-1 loss at the weekend, and Zidane has confirmed that he has an abductor muscle problem.
Isco missed outdoor training on Monday, raising doubts of his availability, but he has been named in the travelling squad.
Zidane will have to field a strong side, to prevent two bad results in quick succession.
Kiko Casilla would start in goal.
Real Madrid have been defensively unconvincing this season. The duo of Sergio Ramos and Nacho should start at the heart of the defence. Marcelo starts at left back.
Achraf has been impressive, he's started five of the team's last six matches. He should keep his place at right back.
The trio of Casemiro, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos were less than impressive against Girona over the weekend, and will have to raise their games against Spurs. The three are the most experienced midfielders within the squad and should all start.
Isco is in contention for a start after travelling with the squad. He should start on the left side of the attack. Ronaldo has been fantastic in the Champions League this season, with five goals in three matches. He starts on the right side of the attack. Karim Benzema should lead the lines.
