Ronaldo and Ramos to miss Fuenlabrada clash

Real Madrid will be without the two influential figures when they start their 2017-18 Copa del Rey with a round of 32 clash away at F.C Fuenlabrada.

Both players missed training on Wednesday, as the team rounded up their preparations for the match. Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, Zidane and some key members of the squad are just back from London where they attended the FIFA awards. Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Cristiano Ronaldo all made it to the FIFA XI team for the year 2017, with Ronaldo winning the FIFA best player of the year award.

Their rest means some of the fringe players within the first team will get to play.

Ronaldo and Ramos should then be fully rested and prepared for Real's weekend La Liga fixture against Girona and next week's Champions League clash with Tottenham at Wembly.
