Isco signs new Real Madrid contract
The Real Madrid attacking midfielder has signed a new five
year deal with the club that will see him remain a Madrid player till 2022.
The Spaniard has been in fine form of late and was a key
player in the Real Madrid squad that won the double last season.
The 25 year old
joined Real Madrid from Malaga in 2013 for £23m on a five year deal. Since
moving to Madrid, he has scored 34 goals in 194 appearances. He has won three
Champions League titles, one La Liga, and two Club World Cups.
He has made 22 appearances for the Spanish national side, scoring
six times.
Isco becomes the second player to sign a new contract at
Real Madrid in the last few days, as Marcelo also did on Wednesday.
Great to see key players in the current squad commit their
futures to the club. Isco is one player with huge potentials , and it will be fascinating
to see how he establishes himself as a consistent starter this season.
