Florentino Perez refuses to rule out Gareth Bale's future exit

The Real Madrid president has hinted that Real Madrid may be open to selling Gareth Bale next summer.

The Welshman was closely linked with a move to Manchester United this summer. And Jose Mourinho said he is ready to fight with other managers for Bale, if he becomes available.

Florentino Perez, speaking earlier this week said every player is transferable, and wasn't too convincing on Bale's  future.

Gareth Bale? He is one of our best players and we are very pleased with him.

There were no offers for him and what Mourinho said in relation to him was just said in a complimentary way.

Every player is transferable right now and we’ll see what happens in a year, although I don’t know what’ll happen next year, just as nobody does.

Bale endured an injury plagued last season, that saw him made 17 La Liga starts for the Los Blancos.

This season, the absence of Ronaldo for the first four La Liga matches has put his performance under the microscope, with the player's display still below expectations.

The emergence and meteoric rise of Marco Asensio the maturity of Isco means Real Madrid can afford to let Bale leave.

The transfer fee involved will also have a huge effect on any possible transfer. With the likes of Neymar and Mbappe making big money moves this summer, a bid above £100 will make Real Madrid think about keeping a 29 year old.
