First leg 2017/18 El-Clasico gets time and date
The first domestic meeting between Real Madrid and Barcelona will come on December 23 at 13:00 (CET), La Liga chief Javier Tebas has announced.
The match was previously scheduled for December 20. Real Madrid host Barcelona in the first leg of this season's league Clasicos.
Real Madrid will be participating at this year's World Club Cup, which comes up between December 6-16. Madrid will play their first match of competition at the semifinal stage on December 13. Hence the slight change in schedule.
Real Madrid have already had their first pound of flesh over Barcelona, defeating the Copa dey rey winners on both legs of the Spanish Super Cup to a 5-1 aggregate win.
Zidane's men are however four points behind Barcelona with just three matches into the La Liga campaign with Madrid managing home draws against Valencia and Levante, as Barcelona won their round of the corresponding matches.
