Keylor Navas

Played his part in an all round great performance. He was rarely tested, but was up to the task whenever needed. (6)

Nacho

Dortmund hardly attack through the left, and he made a number of timely important tackles. Helped the attack. (7)

Sergio Ramos

He wasn't at his top of his game but did well for most of the game. Organized the defence well, but Aubameyang still found space between him and his centre back partner to score the Dortmund goal. And that happened more than once. He was massive on the attack. (7.5)

Varane

Just like Ramos, was brilliant for most of the game, but the goal conceded and the space between him and Ramos gave the Dortmund attackers room to threaten. (7)

Dani Carvajal

The Spanish international perfectly and excellently combined his defensive and attacking duties. He could have scored the first goal in the early minutes of the match, and made amend by providing the assist for the first goal. In all it was a top performance from the right back. (8)

Casemiro

He provided the much needed cover for the back four, with some vital tackles and boosted the attack with his will to push forward. (7)

Toni Kroos

The German making his return was calm and effective in discharging his duties. His passes and ability to keep possession kept the team rolling. (6.5)

Luka Modric

He was at his best all through his time on the pitch with accurate and intelligent play. His passes and ball distribution helped the team to the victory. He provided the assist for the third goal. (8)

Isco

The skilful playmaker was at his dual nature. He was brilliant on some occasions, but some of his decisions were questionable. (6)

Gareth Bale

He was silent until his goal which was well taken and much needed to help his confidence. He was actively involved in the attack and needs more performances like this to return to his best. (7)

C. Ronaldo

A man of the match display from the reigning UEFA footballer of the year. His movement on and off the ball, his link up play and work rate were top notch. He capped off a brilliant display with two goals. (9)
