Videos: Real Madrid duo nominated for UEFA Goal of the season award

Real Madrid's Casemiro and Marco Asensio's goals last season have been nominated among other goals for the UEFA goal of the season.

Casemiro's goal against Napoli in the first leg of the round of 16 tie at the Bernabeu earned him a spot on the nomination list. The Brazilian scored two great goals in the Champions League last season. He also scored a screamer in the final against Juventus.



Asensio's goal against Macedonia in the opening game of Spain's under-21 European Championships held in Poland, was his nominated goal.



In all seven goals were nominated for the award.

Only goals scored in UEFA club and international competitions are nominated.  Fans can watch and vote for the goal of their choice on the UEFA website.

The winner will be announced on Wednesday, 30 August.
