Confirmed Real Madrid squad for Deportivo clash

Marcos Llorente has been called into the Real Madrid squad for the season opener against Deportivo La Coruna as Matteo Kovacic misses out due to injury. Kovacic was impressive in the Spanish Super Cup matches against Barcelona, but missed training days after. In his absence Llorente could feature for the team this weekend.

Jesus Vallejo and Cristiano Ronaldo are confirmed absentees.. Vallejo is injured and Ronaldo serves the second game of his five match ban for shoving the referee in the 3-1 first leg Spanish Super Cup win over Barca.

Goalkeepers : Keylor Navas, Casilla and Luca Zidane.

Defenders: Dani Carvajal, Nacho, Sergio Ramos, Raphaël Varane, Marcelo and Theo Hernandez.

Midfielders: Casemiro, Marcos Llorente, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Isco, Dani Ceballos and Marco Asensio.

Forwards: Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Lucas Vazquez.
