Premier League duo interested in Real Madrid defender
Chelsea and Manchester City are reportedly interested in Real Madrid right back Danilo.
The 26 year old made 24 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions last season, starting in 17 La Liga matches but is still behind the duo of Marcello and Carvajal in the pecking order at the wing back positions.
He joined Real Madrid from FC Porto in 2015 for €31.5.
According to the BBC, the Brazilian has attracted interest from Chelsea and City with both sides looking at a transfer fee of £26m for the player.
City manager, Pep Guardiola has confirmed his side's interest in Danilo, but wouldn't speak much out of respect.
We have options for players coming, but until the deal is done, out of respect for the other clubs I cannot say anything.
Guardiola said as he prepares City for their preseason match against Manchester United via the BBC
Mendy is the same case as Danilo, we have targets and we see what happens. He's a Monaco player so I'm quiet in my comments.
Real Madrid recently confirmed Alvaro Morata's move to Chelsea, and it remains to be seen if both teams will agree a deal for another player.
