Zidane in secret talks with Mbappe: Strongly convincing youngster to make Madrid switch


Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has opened talks with AS Monaco talisman Kylian Mbappé in a bid to convincing him to move to the European Champions.

Madrid have been linked with the 18 year old, who is currently on holiday in Spain. Mbappé scored 26 goals in all competitions for Monaco last season helping the French side to their first league title in over a decade and getting to the semifinals of the Champions League.

According to L'Équipe, Zidane has put a call through to his fellow countryman, giving him reasons and why he would thrive at Madrid.

First, is that Mbappe will get quality playing time if he makes the move.

Madrid already boast of one of the best attack in European football, with the liked of C. Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema making up the famous BBC. According to the report, Zidane has promised Mbappe that one of the trio will be sold to boost his playing chances and development.

Also, Zidane is making Mbappe see that a club of Madrid's status will make him a world star and contender for awards like the Ballon D'Or in the nearest future.

Already, there have been wide spread report that Ronaldo has decided to leave Madrid after his tax evasion saga, though the player is yet to release an official statement to that effect. 

Madrid are also keen on keeping the 32 year old, as president Florentino Perez has said it will take something special for the current world footballer of the year to leave the club.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and PSG have all been linked with moves for Mbappe who is currently pondering on which team he will be playing for next season.
