Federico Valverde joins Deportivo La Coruña on loan
Real Madrid youngster Valverde has joined Deportivo on a season long loan.
The 18 year old midfielder was one of the main stars of the Real Madrid Castilla team last season, making 30 appearances in Spain's Second Division B, scoring three goals.
The Uruguayan U-20 international joined Real Madrid from Peñarol for a fee in the region of €5m in the summer of 2015, but remained at the club for one more season, before moving over to Spain in 2016.
Valverde was one of the stars of the recently concluded Under 20 World Cup, where he won the Silver Ball.

An official statement from Deportivo read thus:
"Federico Santiago Valverde Dipetta (Montevideo, 22 July 1998) will defend Dépor's colours in the 2017-2018 season after reaching an agreement today with Real Madrid CF to loan him for a season without an option to buy."
It is believed that the move will expose him to first team action in the La Liga with Deportivo this coming season.
