Morata's agent confirms very important bid from Manchester United


Alvaro Morata's agent Juanma Lopez, has confirmed that Real Madrid have received a 'very important offer' for the player from Manchester United.

The English club have been linked with a number of strikers after they confirmed the release of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Morata, 24 played second fiddle to Karim Benzema for most of last season despite scoring more goals than the Frenchman. There have been reports of interest from a number of clubs in the Spanish forward. Chelsea, Juventus, Inter and AC Milan have been linked with Morata in recent time.

"It [United] is a club with a lot charm, a very interesting option." Juanma Lopez said.

"I can say that there's a very important offer and the decision now rests with Real."

Aside Manchester United's bid, Lopez also said AC Milan have made a bid which Real Madrid consider not good enough.

"I can confirm there had been regular contact until a few days ago. Quite simply, Real Madrid considered the offer from the Rossoneri unsatisfactory." He added.
