Florentino Perez denies negotiations with Manchester United for Alvaro Morata

The Real Madrid president has vehemently denied that Madrid are currently negotiating a deal with Manchester United for Morata.

The Spanish international has been strongly linked with a move to United this summer. Morata, 24, is Real Madrid's second choice striker behind Karim Bemzema despite scoring more goals than the Frenchman last season.

United are seeking a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Mourinho is reportedly keen on reuniting with Morata, a player he gave his Real Madrid debut when he managed the Los Blancos.

Perez, has however quashed rumours of an ongoing discussion between both teams.

"I think we're not in negotiations with Manchester United, which is not to say that there are people around you who are talking, which is normal," the Real Madrid president told esRadio.

"I have read that we have reached an agreement I do not know how many million times, but it isn't true."

Morata got married last week, and his future at Madrid has come under more scrutiny, with news of Real Madrid's interest in Mbappe.

Chelsea have also been linked with the player, as there is another prospect of linking up with Antonio Conte, who he worked with at Juventus.
