Eight Real Madrid players make official UEFA Champions League Squad of the Season

Real Madrid Champions League triumph has earned eight of the team's players places in the official Champions League squad of the season.

Madrid became the first team to win the Champions League back to back, with the likes C. Ronaldo and Marcello staring for the Los Blancos.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who emerged as the Champions League top scorer this season leads the Real Madrid contingent. Defenders Sergio Ramos, Marcelo and Dani Carvajal also make the squad.

The midfield trio of Luka Modric, Casemiro, Toni Kroos are joined by attacking midfielder Isco in the UEFA selected squad.

AS Monaco youngster Kylian Mbappé expectedly makes the squad. Beaten finalist Juventus had legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and midfielder Pjanic are the only representative from Italy.
