Alvaro Morata keen on leaving Madrid as negotiations continues - Report

The Real Madrid striker is reportedly prepared to leave the club and has made it clear to the club.

The 24 year old has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, with Chelsea another likely destination.

The Spanish international was the team's second choice striker behind Karim Benzema last she season, despite scoring more goals than the Frenchman. 

The main reason for Morata's likely exit is his quest for more playing time. With the World Cup fast approaching,  the player knows his chances of being Spain's top striker at the World Cup depends on how much and well he plays this coming season.

According to Marca,  Zinedine Zidane has talked to Morata with a view of changing his mind, but that hasn't change the player's decision. Real Madrid will  demand for a transfer fee in the region of €80m for the player, and a deal is expected to be reached soon with United in pole position to sign the player.

ESPN sources have also revealed that Manchester United and Real Madrid are making progress in their negotiations for the player, who is seen as a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. According to the report, agreeing personal terms with the player should be easy giving the player's willingness to make the move.
