Best reactions on Twitter as Real Madrid win 2017 FIFA Club world Cup
Real Madrid successfully defended the Club World Cup as a second-half Cristiano Ronaldo free-kick against Gremio gave the Los Blancos their fifth title of the year 2017.
Real Madrid were the best team on the night at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi but had to wait till the second half to break the deadlock.
Eight minutes into the second half, Ronaldo was fouled by Jailson just outside the penalty box. The Portuguese then rose to the occasion and scored from the resulting free-kick to give Real Madrid the lead and win.
The goal was Ronaldo’s seventh goal at the competition, and further strengthens his grip as the competition's highest goal scorer. This is the third time Real Madrid will be winning the competition in four years.

Next for Real Madrid is the all-important league match against Barcelona. Real Madrid currently trail the league leaders with eight points, and that could increase to eleven on Sunday as Barca plays at home against Deportivo La Coruna. Real Madrid miss La Liga action this week due to their participation in the World Club Cup.
A win for the Los Blancos in the El-Clasico will breathe more hope to Madrid's title hopes.
