4-3-3: Predicted Real Madrid starting eleven vs Tottenham
Real Madrid will seek to continue their fine form in this season's Champions League when they host Premier League side Tottenham on Tuesday.
Zidane rested a number of players when Real Madrid took on Getafe on Saturday. Gareth Bale will miss the match against his former side, as Dani Carvajal, who is still recuperating.
Luka Modric will face his former team, for the first time.
Keylor Navas should return to the starting eleven after missing the last match against Getafe due to an injury sustained on international duty. Zidane has given positive news about his return.
Real Madrid's defence has been the team's Achilles this season. Marcelo is back, and should start at left back. Hopefully he should be able to complete the 90 minutes after being substituted late on in the match against Getafe.
Varane was rested over the weekend, and should start. Sergio Ramos vomited before the game on Saturday, and had his body on the line playing in the match. He should be more better now, and is the best leader in defence the team can have against a rampaging Tottenham attack. Nacho should come in at right back, giving Arhcaf the opportunity to rest.
Casemiro and Modric were rested over the weekend and should start in the middle of the park. Toni Kroos comes in to complete the three in midfield.
Isco was the difference over the weekend, coming on to provide the all important assist for the winning goal scored by Ronaldo with five minutes to the final whistle. He should start this match on the left side of the Real Madrid attack. C. Ronaldo plays on TV left side of the attack.
Karim Benzema is back, and marked his return with a goal on Saturday, hopefully he will continue his goal scoring form on Tuesday. He starts upfront.
