Real Madrid duo named among La Liga youngsters to watch this season
Spanish football expert and Skysports analyst Guillem Balague has named five promising youngsters to watch out for in the La Liga this season. And unsurprisingly he named two Real Madrid youngsters.
Marco Asensio and new signing Dani Ceballos were among the five named by the veteran La Liga journalist.
Asensio has already started the season on a bright note scoring two goals, one in each leg against Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup. He scored 10 goals in all competitions for Real Madrid last season, and is no doubt one to watch out for.
With the sale of Alvaro Morata, and loan exit of James Rodriguez, Asensio should get more playing time this season.
Dani Ceballos joined Real Madrid this summer from Real Betis after an impressive last season, capped with a player of the tournament display at the European Under 21 championship.
Real Madrid saw off Barcelona to sign the young centre midfielder who will face competition from the likes of Luka Modric, Casemiro, Toni Kroos and Kovacic for starting place in the Madrid setup.
Zidane's effective rotation policy with however see him get decent playing time for team.
The spotlight will also be on other new Real Madrid signings Theo Hernandez and Jesus Vallejo.
Other three youngsters to watch out for this season according to Guillem Balague are Mikel Oyarzabal (Real Sociedad), Hernandez Cascante (Rodri) (Villarreal) and Valencia born Carlos Soler (Valencia).
