Barcelona Vs Real Madrid: Predicted starting eleven: Isco, Ronaldo to start, Benzema out

Real Madrid head to the Camp Nou for the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup. Zidane's men can put the memories of a poor preseason tour of the United States behind them after an impressive 2-1 win over Manchester United in the UEFA Super Cup.

Nothing much had changed at Madrid, and Zidane will start most of the players that started against United.

Keylor Navas starts in goal. The Costa Rican was impressive against United on Wednesday.

Zidane would most likely keep the back four that started against United. Marcelo at left back. Sergio Ramos and Varane at centre back while Carvajal retains his place at right back.

Zidane will be forced to make a change in the midfield as Luka Modric is suspended for the match.

Toni Kroos and Casemiro should retain their spots in the starting eleven. Kovacic is a good replacement for Modric. Handing young Dani Ceballos his debut as a starter against Barcelona at Camp Nou is a risk Zidane may not want to take.

One player that is doing well in breaking the Bale - Benzema - C. Ronaldo combination recently is Isco. The Spaniard was the official man of the match in the game against Manchester United, and capped of a brilliant display with a goal. On a day when Benzema did very little to justify his starting place in the team.

I will like to see Zidane make a bold change upfront.

Cristiano Ronaldo has had more days in training and would be pushing for a start. The Portuguese was a late substitute against United, but should start this game. I  would like to see him start as a number nine. The team's main striker.

Ronaldo had proved over time he can play as a top or false nine. And assuming that role against Barcelona would be fascinating.

Gareth Bale and Isco start on the wings behind Ronaldo, with Isco drifting into a centre attacking role more often.
