4-4-2: Predicted starting eleven: Real Madrid vs Barcelona

Real Madrid host Barcelona at the Bernabeu for the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup after an impressive display at Camp Nou, that saw the Los Blancos hold a 3-1 lead.

Real Madrid will be missing C. Ronaldo for this match after he was given a five match ban, for his pushing of the referee after his red card in the first leg. Luka Modric is available after missing the first leg due to suspension.

With the comfortable 3-1 lead, Zidane may entertain the thought of resting some key players, who featured in the UEFA Super Cup against Manchester United and against Barcelona in the first leg.

This may give the likes of Theo Hernandez, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vasquez and Dani Ceballos an opportunity to start. However against an opposition like Barcelona, capable of turning even worse result around, I expect Zidane to field his strongest side. That will mean starting almost the whole team that played the first leg.

Keylor Navas would start in goal.  Marcelo should keep his place at left back ahead of Theo. The duo of Sergio Ramos and Varane did a great job in the first leg and should start in the heart of the defence. Dani Carvajal completes the back four.

Luka Modric is available and should replace Kovacic who impressed in the first leg, but was substituted because of an injury. Toni Kroos and Casemiro will retain their spots in the midfield.

Isco has been impressive in the last few matches and should start behind the duo of Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema who will carry the team's goal scoring responsibilities.
