Pepe completes Besiktas move

The centre back has completed his move to Turkish club Besiktas, after been released by Real Madrid last month. 

The 34 year old was offered a one year extension at Real Madrid but turned down the offer, wanting a two year deal.

Pepe battled with injury for most of last season, as he made only 18 appearances in all competitions. He spent a 10 years at the Bernabeu, winning three La Liga titles, three Champions League medals among others.

He was linked to a number of clubs, and reportedly had medicals at PSG, but talks latter broke down with the French side.

He was part of the Portuguese squad to the just concluded Confederations Cup.
