Juventus 1-4 Real Madrid: Player Ratings: Ronaldo shines again

Keylor Navas

Made a couple of good saves at the start of the game to keep Madrid in the game. Other than that, he was rarely threatened. Helpless against a brilliant Manzukic goal.  Did perfectly all that was expected from him. (7.5/10)

Dani Carvajal

Showed why he is the team's first choice right back ahead of Nacho. He was strong and used his body well. Attacked when he had the opportunity and was solid defensively. (7.5/10)

Sergio Ramos

Captain fantastic was at his twain form. Got booked in the first half and was on the knife edge for most of the game. Dealt well with the attacking threat of Gonzalo Higuaín and others. (8/10)

Raphaël Varane

An effective display from the French international. Combined well with Ramos at the heart of the defence to deny the Juve attackers time and space. Offensively, Varane offered himself for play and had a good number of touches in the opposition half. (8.5/10)

Marcelo Vieira

Arguably the best left back in European club football this season. Against Juve, he balanced his defensive duties and attacking responsibilities perfectly. Denied Dani Alves time and free access in the Madrid half, which was key in silencing the Italians on the night. (8.5/10)

Casemiro

Scored a screamer, and bossed the midfield. Took time to get into the rhythm of the game, but once he found his bearing, dominated play in the middle. Provided the needed shield for the Madrid back line. (8.5/10)

Toni Kroos

As with most of his games this season, a rather quiet but effective display from the German ace. (7.5/10)

Luka Modric

The Croatian was at his best. His passing and control of the match was crucial. Competed well against the Juventus midfielders and won a lot of second balls. (7.5/10)

Isco

Selected ahead of Gareth Bale, and justified the decision with a controlling display in the final third. He was a threat to the Juve defenders, and his drive and desire to attack was a big plus for the Los Blancos. (8/10)

Cristiano Ronaldo

A masterclass display from the official man of the match and ours too. A lethal display sealed with two well taken goal that makes him the highest goal scorer in this season's Champions League. Is this the match that wins him his fifth Balon d'Or? Time will definitely tell. (9.5/10)

Karim Benzema

Not the most classic performance from Benzema, but an efficient one. Did well to hold up play, kept and moved the ball well. His linkup play was also brilliant. (7/10)

Substitutes

Marco Asensio

Came on to score the last goal of the match. (7/10)

Gareth Bale

Didn't have to do much as the trophy had already been won before his introduction. (5/10)

Alvaro Morata

Came on too late. No Ratings
