Lucas Vazquez: The unsung hero of Real Madrid's La Liga triumph

One of such is winger Lucas Vazquez. The 25 year old featured in most wins for Madrid this season other than any player within the squad. He played in 27 matches won by Madrid in the league eclipsing Isco (25) and Marcelo (23).
When compared with players from other clubs in the league, he was tied with Barcelona goalkeeper Ter Stegen.
Vazquez also holds the record for the most appearance in the La Liga by a Real Madrid player. He played in 33 La Liga games, surpassing Isco (30), Marcelo (30), Benzema (29), Kroos (29) and Cristiano Ronaldo (29).
A closer look at the figures shows that Vazquez didn't play in just five La Liga games. He started in 12 of those league matches, coming on as a substitute in 21 matches.
He has made 47 appearances for Madrid in all competitions this season, scoring four goals and has seven assists to his credit.
